In recognition of the 215 children’s bodies that were uncovered at the Indian Residential School in Kamloops earlier this month, local residents established small memorials to commemorate the children’s deaths.
This memorial was set up at St. Daniels Church in South Mountain.
The Township office at North Dundas lowered the flags to half mast, and residents set up a small memorial at the United Church in Winchester.
