It’s time to get candid! The Township of North Dundas is launching a new photo contest.
Capture North Dundas has started and runs for two weeks, ending October 29 at 10am.

What’s up for grabs? A $100 gift certificate to a North Dundas business of your choice and seeing your photo featured on the Township’s website.
“Our goal is to showcase the natural beauty of North Dundas and encourage people to get out and enjoy what our community has to offer,” says Mayor Tony Fraser.

“The residents of North Dundas are talented, and this is a great way to highlight their skills while promoting our community through captivating images.”

The contest is open to anyone and everyone within the community, including kids. Each person can only submit one photo for the contest, and all images must feature nature within North Dundas.

“It could be anything – a sunset, landscape, the fall colours – anything beautiful that you stumble across while exploring North Dundas,” notes Mayor Fraser.
Voting will be done by members of the community. All eligible photos submitted for the contest will be posted to the Township of North Dundas Facebook page on Monday,

November 1. Voting commences when the post goes up, and wraps on Thursday, November 4 at 10am. Each member of the community can only cast one vote, and if someone casts multiple votes, only the first one will be counted.

To submit a photo for the contest, send an email with the image attached and brief description to jwestendorp@northdundas.com.

Anyone with questions about the contest can contact Jennifer Westendorp, Communications Officer directly by calling 613-774-2105.

By submitting a photo for the contest, you acknowledge that the Township has permission to use that image for future initiatives, and that the photo is your intellectual property and does not violate any copyright laws.
